We are pleased to have launched the Future of Asthma’s Bold Blueprint for Asthma Reform in Australia; Charting a new course to improve asthma outcomes.
The Future of Asthma’s Blueprint identifies five priorities for reform:
Living well with asthma
Reforming asthma models of care
Transforming quality use of medicines
Implementing the optimal asthma consultation within primary care
Prioritising asthma research and translation.
Grounded in rigorous evidence, informed by clinical and lived experience, and open to innovation, the Blueprint sets out the changes required to improve outcomes at scale - changes that can be actioned now and deliver measurable impact now.
The Blueprint was launched at the TSANZ Annual Scientific Meeting in Perth, on Monday 30th April 2026.
